About DMG...
DMG is a statewide network of professionals providing Ergonomics, return-to-work and disability management services throughout California. The Concord corporate office serves as the one point for contacts, referrals, quality control, and service coordination.
The DMG Network was developed in response to employers’ need to coordinate workplace requirements brought on by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related regulatory changes in California’s workers’ compensation system with an emphasis on early return to work. In the early 90’s, we developed specialized services with insurers, self-insured administrators, and employers to provide job descriptions and track those job descriptions with the physicians for return-to-work determinations. For those injured workers unable to return to their regular job, we provide on site consultation to make permanent modified/alternative work availability determinations.
Our services include Ergonomic assessments and training, transitional work programs, job accommodations, standard job descriptions, essential function job descriptions, modified/alternative work determinations, assistance with the ADA and FEHA and interactive process compliance and management of medical return-to-work determinations.
At DMG, quality service and customer satisfaction are our two primary goals. Employers, insurers and administrators, and employees all reap the benefits of timely and effective delivery of quality services. Our goal is to create "win-win" solutions which provide cost savings to employers and insurers, while at the same time help employees stay on the job and allow them to continue to work in a safe and healthy way.
DMG's provider network is experienced, certified, and receives ongoing training in order to maintain the consistent level of service delivery we require. The staff at our corporate office insures that work is completed in a timely manner, of high quality, and within customer specifications. We are dedicated to working together to see that our customers achieve the best possible outcomes.
